The Anger Quest
Through storytelling, play and a dragon named Argo, children discover real tools for understanding and working with their anger - skills they carry with them long after the quest ends.
What is the Anger Quest?
About the program
The Anger Quest is a story-based emotional regulation program for children. Over four weeks, your child joins Argo the dragon on an adventure - and through that journey, learns four real-world tools they can use whenever big feelings arrive.

Inside the quest
A glimpse into the adventure
Skills that travel home with them
What children gain
The Anger Quest isn’t just about what happens in the session. Every tool is designed to become part of a child’s daily life - language they can use, strategies they can reach for on their own.
-
A pause before the storm
Children learn to notice the physical signals of anger rising - and to buy themselves a moment before reacting.
-
Words for big feelings
A richer emotional vocabulary helps children name what’s happening inside (which makes it far easier for parents to support them).
-
Repair not just rupture
Children practice how to come back after a difficult moment with siblings, friends, and family.
-
Confidence in themselves
Completing the Quest gives children a felt sense of mastery. They embark on an adventure and earn badges through challenges they complete.
-
Tools not just talk
The Pause shield, Thinking Compass, Teamwork Rope, and Wise Crown become a shared family language (shorthand for what to do when things get hard).
-
A story they own
Because the learning happens through narrative and play, it becomes an experience that belongs to the child.
What makes this special is that a child finishes the quest with something that feels like an adventure they completed, not therapy they attended.
About Michela
The guide behind the Quest
I’m Michela, a Drama Therapist (M.A) based in Hamburg. I’ve spent nine years working with children in drama and social-emotional learning settings, and over time, I’ve become certain of one thing: children learn best when they’re playing, moving, and inside a story.
The Quest for Connection programs grew out of my Master’s research, which showed that a drama therapy-informed SEL program supported every child’s social and emotional development over a six-week period. The Anger Quest is the first in the series, and completing the quest with a family confirmed everything I hoped it would be.
Let’s write this next chapter together.
